Former England captain Michael Vaughan delivered a critical verdict on Pakistan's batting collapse. India went on to win the match by seven wickets.

In the 12th ODI of the 2023 World Cup in Ahmedabad, India showcased an outstanding bowling performance, dismissing Pakistan for 191 runs in 42.5 overs. Despite a confident start by openers Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammed Siraj struck in the eighth over, claiming Abdullah for 20. Imam-ul-Haq fell in the 13th over to Hardik Pandya after scoring 36.

The Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, aimed to rebuild alongside Mohammad Rizwan, but Babar departed for 50 in the 30th over, courtesy of Siraj. Rizwan fell just short of a fifty, losing his wicket to Jasprit Bumrah for 49. After Rizwan's dismissal, Pakistan's batting collapsed, with only one player reaching double digits. The innings concluded with two wickets each for Bumrah, Siraj, Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan delivered a critical verdict on Pakistan's batting collapse. India won the match by seven wickets
