Irfan Pathan’s habit of trolling Pakistani Cricket Fans was seen once again. The 38-year-old took to Twitter to have a dig at the Babar Azam-led side after they were bowled for 191 on Saturday. Pakistan had lost eight wickets for just 36 runs against India during the ODI World Cup 2023 game.

The Narendra Modi Stadium saw the Indian fans come out in droves to watch the huge game. India and Pakistan are huge games in any tournament but in the World Cup, the match holds different significance. 

Rohit Sharma’s decision to bowl first paid rich dividends in Ahmedabad on Saturday. Ishan Kishan was unlucky to miss out as he was benched for the big game. Shubman Gill who was suffering from dengue was passed fit to make his return to the Indian team.

Irfan Pathan mocks Pakistani team on Twitter –

Former Indian star Irfan Pathan was delighted to see the Indian bowling attack bowl out Pakistan for 191. This after the men in green were running away with the game at 155/2 with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.

Irfan Pathan took to Twitter and wrote “Padosiyo main khamosi ka mahaul hai’ (there is pin-drop silence across the border). The tweet was made after Pakistan were bowled out for 191 in 42.5 overs.

Apart from Shardul Thakur, every Indian bowler picked two wickets each. Mohammad Siraj began the game with expensive figures. The 29-year-old got India back into the game with the wickets Abdullah Shafique for 20. This was followed by Siraj taking the big wicket of Babar Azam for 56.

Jasprit Bumrah too got into the groove getting through the defenses of Mohammad Rizwan for 49. Shadab Khan then was bowled out by Bumrah for just two runs to leave Pakistan in deep trouble. Kuldeep Yadav struck twice in a single over when he got Saud Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed.

Hardik Pandya who is the skipper of the local IPL team also got two wickets. The 30-year-old first got Imam-Ul-Haq for 36 and then got the wicket of Mohammad Nawaz for 4. Ravindra Jadeja then got Hasan Ali caught by Gill and then got Haris Rauf out LBW to bowl out Pakistan for 191.
