The Dharamshala ground has hosted three  World Cup 2023 games so far. Bangladesh won the game against Afghanistan while chasing in a day game. The next game was also a day game between England and Bangladesh which was won by England by 137 runs.

The daytime weather is expected to be pleasant with a little chance for rain which is very minimal. There could be periods where the cloud cover could help the swing bowlers with the new ball.
