After a fighting day of play on Day 3, India stormed their way back in the fourth Test match against England. The major highlight of the day was India’s skipper, Rohit Sharma’s captaincy which earned a lot of appreciation. The Indian skipper made some impressive bowling changes which eventually saw England bundled out for just 145 runs in the second innings. During Day 3 of the fourth Test against England in Ranchi, India captain Rohit Sharma took a moment to educate his young teammate Sarfaraz Khan.
As Sarfaraz prepared to field at silly point, close to the batter Shoaib Bashir facing Ravichandran Ashwin during the final hour of play, Rohit noticed that Sarfaraz wasn't wearing a helmet. Recognizing the importance of safety, Rohit intervened and instructed Sarfaraz to wear the necessary protective headgear before assuming his fielding position. This moment was indeed special at the time when Sarfaraz made his debut, Nausad Khan, Sarfaraz’s father told the India skipper to take care of his son.
Rohit was overheard advising the youngster not to prioritize bravado over safety and to ensure he took proper protection. "Aye bhai, hero nai banne ka (hey, don't be a hero here)" the skipper told Sarfaraz. The twelfth man from the Indian squad promptly emerged with a helmet and handed it to Sarfaraz.
