The T20I format has changed the game of cricket completely and given us some iconic matches, players and tournaments. The craze started right from the 2007 T20 World Cup which saw a format where the game could be filled with more thrill and excitement for the players and the fans. This has officially become a format which is also ranked by the Apex Cricket Council and we have got to witness a lot of T20 greats who have played some great innings. The shortest format of the game will always remain in the people’s hearts right from the moment Yuvraj Singh hit 6 sixes in an over to Chris Gayle being the first to complete over 10000 runs in the format.
There are still a lot of great batters in this format who have consistently performed against every team they have played against. These batters are no doubt the master of this format and have the stats and the innings to prove it. They are not only great run scorer, but fantastic match winners as well and have performed in every major tournament in which they have featured. There is no doubt these T20I stars will be remembered by fans and will have a special place in our hearts as well.
The big question is who are the teams which these players have enjoyed playing against and scoring the bulk of their runs. There is no doubt that these batters look to score runs against every team they face, but there is always one team that faces the wrath of these world-class batters in the shortest format of the game and they seem to enjoy every moment while smashing runs against these teams whenever they get the chance. This will be something to look forward to as we make this list.
So without any delay let's look at the top 5 players who have scored the most runs against an opponent in T20I:
5. David Warner ( 653 runs vs Sri Lanka)
The Pocket dynamo from Australia deserves to be on this list for his amazing performances for Australia.
