Uttar Pradesh’s talented batsman and Indian team’s new entrant Rinku Singh has already set up IPL on fire with humongous sixes and iconic finishes that have earned him a spot in the Indian T20 team. But now the young Indian batter is carrying on his form onto the domestic circuit where again, Rinku Singh has got his state team out of trouble, which we have already seen him doing a few times in the IPL.

Playing for Uttar Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Rinku Singh played a scintillating knock of 77 runs in just 33 deliveries and got his side out of a precarious position against a strong Punjab team hitting six sixes and four boundaries in his innings. Punjab is a strong domestic team led by young Indian medium Arshdeep Singh and they had UP struggling at 53 for 3 in just 11.1 overs.

But Rinku Singh had other some plans and took the Punjab bowling for cleaners from the get-go to take his side at a fighting score of 169 runs at the end of the 20 overs from 53 for 3. Rinku Singh might not come up as a tall muscular batter but his six-hitting is second to one and can hit a long ball consistently without getting it wrong too many times.

The last couple of IPL seasons have gone quite well for Rinku Singh but his game-changing innings was the one he played against the Gujarat Titans where he hit 5 sixes to get 29 runs in the last over against Yash Dayal.
