5. 320-run win against Australia in Mohali, 2008
This was a game that even the mighty Australian team of the 2000s would like to forget completely. On a flat pitch in Mohali, The Indians batted first and put up a humongous total of 469 on the board. The Aussies could only manage to reply with just 268 runs giving the Indians a massive lead. The Indian team came back in the next innings and declared on a score of 314-3 giving them a target of 516. The Aussies were finally bundled out for 195 runs with the Indian team winning by a massive margin of 320 runs.
4. 321-run win against New Zealand in Indore, 2016
This game was a nightmare for the Kiwis with the likes of Virat Kohli with the bat and Ravichandran Ashwin with the ball dominating the black caps in Indore. India started by putting up a total of 557, thanks to big scores from Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane. The Kiwi batters tried to make it a match, but this time it was the guile of Ashwin that pegged them and they were bowled out for 299. It was a century from Cheteshwar Pujara that helped them set a target of 475 and once again Ravi Ashwin came to the party and went through the Kiwi batting order giving India a memorable 321-run victory.
3. 337-run win against South Africa in Delhi, 2015
The next game was against the Proteas in the Kotla of Delhi. The South African batters might have been happy to bowl out the Indian batters for 334 with a century from Rahane helping them. However, they were in for a surprise with the Indian bowling attack getting bowled out for just 121 due to an incredible 5-fer from Ravindra Jadeja. Rahane came back with another century in the next innings with another century helping India set a big target. The South Africans were once again bowled out thanks to the spin twins and India managed to win the game by 337 runs.
2. 372-run win against New Zealand in Mumbai,2021
This was perhaps one of the biggest wins for India in Test cricket which featured the black caps once again. The Kiwis might have been happy with Ajaz Patel getting 10 wickets in an innings and bowling out the Indians for 325. There was only a century from Mayank Agarwal to look back in the innings. The Kiwis were surprised once again as they got bowled out for a paltry total of 62 with the Indian spinners creating havoc once again. India declares on a score of 276 setting a above 500 total for New Zealand. The Indian bowlers once again got them bowled out for just 167 and won the game by 372 runs making it their biggest Test win against the black caps.
1. 434-run win against England in Rajkot, 2024
This is currently the biggest win for India in Test matches which have got them the lead in the ongoing 5-match series. It was a completely one-sided encounter, with the Indians scoring 445 runs on the board. Despite the efforts from Ben Ducket, the Poms still got bowled out for 319 runs. It was then Yashasvi Jaiswal, whose brilliant double century got the Indians a lead of over 550. The England batters folded like a pack of cards getting all out for 122 and achieving their biggest-ever Test win by a 434-run margin.
