Australian hard-hitting batter Grace Harris who’s known for hard-hitting prowess set the WBBL 2023 on fire with her amazing hitting in her innings of 136 not out in just 59 balls which she played for the Brisbane Heats against Perth Scorchers. Termed the most powerful batter in Women’s cricket Harris played some jaw-dropping shots in her blazing innings but there was one shot in the innings she played that made everyone stand up and admire Harris’s hard-hitting abilities.
After the first ball of the fourteenth over in Heat’s Harris realized that her willow had broken but instead of calling for a new one, she chose to play the next ball with the same bat and even went to say that she’ll hit the next one for a six to the commentators backing her hard-hitting ability.
What happened next was something that left everyone either in splits or jumping from their seats as she managed to hit a six but she also broke down in pieces and went on with the ball. This incident not only speaks volumes about the Aussie batter’s confidence in herself but also is a testament to her timing.
Here’s how it all unfolded on the field yesterday:

I'll still hit it for a six.

Apart from her batting, Grace Harris is an amicable character both on and off the field who is known and loved off the antics off the field too. During her stint with the UP Warriorz in the augural season of the Women’s Premier League, she once in an interview expressed her love for Burgers which was eventually fulfilled by veteran Cricket broadcaster, Harsha Bhogle by presenting her with a burger in the next interview which she gleefully accepted.
