WWE United States Championship winner Logan Paul found himself on the floor after his verbal fued with Kevin Owen. The social media star then took it to his social media handle where he addressed the whole issue on social media where he posted a bruised picture of himself and wrote, "He actually got me".
It all unfolded in the final match of this week's episode of WWE Smackdown where Kevin Owens defeated Santos Escobar to be crowned as the challenger who will take on Logan Paul for the WWE United State Champions title. While all of this unfolded, Logal Paul was witnessing everything from the commentary box and after the fight came down to congratulate Kevin Owens.
But amid all this, Paul tried to play down Kevin Owen and belittled him by acknowledging himself to be the "the greatest United States Champion in history." He went on to ridicule Kevin Owen's achievement by doesn't see and Canadian winning the US title. But by that time, Kevin Owen has had enough of him and punched him down flat on the ground.
Logan Paul and Kevin Owen’s last meeting
The stage was set at WrestleMania 37 when Owens faced off against Sami Zayn. However, it was the unscripted involvement of Logan Paul which is important in this context. In that encounter also things got spicy after the match, with Owens dropping Paul with his signature Stunner, leaving the internet star flat on his back.
Now, the tables are turned, and Paul has the gold. As we approach the Royal Rumble, Kevin Owens has been announced as the first WWE Superstar to challenge Logan Paul for the United States Championship.
A title that Paul has held for over two months, yet not defended since winning it from Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel. While Kevin Owens is a seasoned grappler who brings raw power and experience whereas Logan Paul is the social media sensation, brings agility and unpredictability. Given their past history and recent feud it will be interesting to witness their fight for the title in Royal Rumble.
