In the third and final ODI between India and Australia at Rajkot's Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium on September 27, Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bat. The decision proved successful as David Warner (56 off 34), Steven Smith (74 off 60), Mitchell Marsh (96 off 84) and Marnus Labuschagne (72 off 58) all contributed with half-centuries.

However, the heat seemed to affect Smith, leading to a viral video of him sitting on a chair with an ice pack during the 28th over. Despite reaching 5,000 ODI runs during his innings, Smith's stay was cut short by Mohammed Siraj, dismissing him for 74 (61) with eight fours and a six. Australia was at 242/3 after 31.3 overs.

Let us look at the video where Kohli was seen having fun with Marnus and in the background Smith can be seen sitting on the chair:

India needs 353 runs to complete a clean sweep against Australia

After winning the toss the Australian skipper Pat Cummins decided to bat first on a pitch that suits batting. The Australian opener had a brilliant start to their inning as both David Warner (56) and Mitchell Marsh (96) went on to stitch a furious partnership of 78. The former was the first one to be dismissed but then came Steven Smith (74).

The duo then formed together a brilliant partnership of 137 runs at a very brisk pace. But once, Marsh fell, the Australian batting kept on tumbling one after the other. At one stage, Australia were 230/2 in 30 overs at one stage and finished 352/7 in their 50 overs. That means they scored 122/5 in their last 20 overs. Indeed, it was a brilliant comeback from the Indian bowling lineup. It is a no-brainer that the team have scored 50 runs less from where they were at one stage. Now it is all up to the Indian batting lineup to score the needful runs so that India can win the series 3-0.
