The South Africa batter David Miller scored a sensational century and remained unbeaten till the end to help the Proteas get closer to the target. The official handle of the South African team posted a video of David Miller talking about the defeat on their Twitter account post the match.
In the video, the southpaw can be seen explaining the thoughts that went behind the chase. Miller lauded Quinton de Kock for his inning and said that the batter coped up well till the end.
“It was very tough, to be honest. I don't really come around too often but scoring in an innings like that felt very special. Really disappointed as it goes towards a losing cause. Quinny (Quinton de Kock) batted exceptionally well. Struggled up front but he batted all the way through and it was great to have a really good partnership with him,” David Miller said in the video uploaded by the Proteas’ official handle.

I am feeling really comfortable with my game: David Miller
David Miller was in mopes despite scoring a century and cited the defeat as the reason behind it. The veteran Proteas star highlighted the nature of the game and added that a team is never guaranteed success in the format.
“It was really hot so just tried to not run as much and try and hit as many boundaries as possible. But yes, it was a great partnership and I really enjoyed batting with Quinny again. Where I am right now, I am feeling really comfortable with my game. You know you are never guaranteed success but I just feel like learning from my mistakes from the past and trying and get myself nice and set, backing myself a lot more but really enjoying my cricket,” he concluded.
