Young Indian batter Shubman Gill has been a hot topic in the cricket fraternity this year for his scintillating centuries and record-breaking performances. Apart from his batting heroics, the 23-year-old has received a lot of attention on social media due to rumours about his relationship with Sara Tendulkar and Sara Ali Khan. Meanwhile, it looks like one more name will be added to the list now that Gill went on a date with a popular social media influencer.
The India opening batter appeared in a video on popular digital content creator Niharika NM's YouTube channel. Captioned "Awkward first date ft. Shubman Gill", the video caught the attention of cricket fans who started speculating about the cricketer's new relationship. Niharika, who is well-known for her hilarious Instagram Reels, also shared a few photos and videos from her cute date with Gill on her Instagram account, along with the caption, "Idk if this was a date or a magic show."
Interestingly, it was not a proper date between the two celebrities but a promotional ploy for the upcoming sequel of the blockbuster Hollywood sequel Spider-Man. Gill lent his voice to the lead character (Indian Spider-Man) Pavitar Prabhakar in the animated film 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse'.
