Brazilian star Neymar is finally off and running for his new side Al-Hilal FC. The 31-year-old scored his first goal for the club during the AFC Champions League game. The match was won by Al-Hilal with a 3-0 margin against Nassaji Mazandaran.
Both the clubs are placed in the same group as Indian club Mumbai City FC. Neymar and his side are soon expected to play in Navi Mumbai against the ISL outfit. It was a clinical performance by Neymar as his brilliant play helped win the game on Tuesday.
Al-Hilal FC leads the table with 4 points from two games with 2 wins and a draw. Mumbai City FC are at the bottom of the table having lost both their games in the competition so far. Navbahor, the fourth team in the group is in 2nd place with Nassaji in third place.

Former Fulham FC striker Alexander Mitrovic opened the scoring for the Saudi side in the 18th minute. Al-Hilal FC maintained perfect possession of the ball as they outplayed their opponents.
The moment the Al-Hilal fans had been waiting for came in the 58th minute. Neymar was fed with a perfect through-ball and the Brazilian legend latched on to it perfectly. The 31-year-old scored his first goal for his new club with a beautifully hit left-footed shot. The ball rifled into the net to give the visiting fans moments of joy.

Neymar is one of the most celebrated football players in the world. At 31-years-old the Brazil international has joined a plethora of global stars in the Saudi League. Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to start the trend by signing for Al-Nassr.
The likes of Karim Benzema, Ngolo Kante and many more big stars are plying their trade in the Saudi Pro League. Al-Hilal FC is at the top of the table in the Saudi League with AL–Ittihad in the 2nd place. Ronaldo-led Al-Nassr are currently fourth in the table after 8 rounds of games being played.
The lead at the top of Neymar’s side is just two points in comparison to Al-Ittihad. In fact, the standings are so tight that Al Fateh in 7th place trails Al-Hilal FC by just 6 points. Neymar played for some of the biggest European clubs including Barcelona and PSG before moving to Saudi Arabia.
