MS Dhoni’s new look sets social media on fire

Former India skipper MS Dhoni was recently captured sporting a ponytail. The 41-year-old was seen walking into a bus. There is a ten-second video doing the rounds where MS Dhoni can be seen being flanked by security. The setting of the venue looked like a shooting of some sort.

Ravindra Jadeja who has a close-knit bond with MS Dhoni spoke about the 2011 World Cup final. The ace Indian player was recently in conversation with Star Sports India ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup. Jadeja played a huge role in CSK winning the title this year.

Ravindra Jadeja said “We had a practice session for IPL but it was canceled as India was playing the World Cup final. All the teammates were sitting in the same room to watch the final. We were all slightly nervous after India lost some early wickets”

India chasing 275 to win was placed 114/3. That’s when Dhoni and Gambhir added 109 runs for the 4th wicket. Gautam Gambhir scored 97 runs, while MS Dhoni was not out on 91. The Indian skipper finished the game with a memorable six to win the World Cup for India.

Speaking to Star Sports India, Jadeja further said “MS Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir turned the match around for us. I still remember everything from that night. It was a very special moment for Indian cricket. There are a lot of expectations from the fans to win the World Cup, especially if it is happening in India.”
