Netherlands took on Australia in their 1^st Warm-Up game which was played in Kerala on Saturday. The match was abandoned as rain pelted down during Netherland’s batting. The Dutch will be led by Scott Edwards during the 2023 ODI World Cup.

The first game of the 2023 ODI World Cup for the Dutch is against Pakistan. The match is to be played in Hyderabad on the 6^th of October. The Netherlands team upset some huge names like West Indies and Zimbabwe to qualify for the tournament.

Dale Steyn was recently named as the toughest bowler faced by Rohit Sharma, the Indian skipper. The former South African fast bowler named five fast bowlers to watch out for the 2023 ODI World Cup.

The first name according to the 40-year-old is India’s Mohammad Siraj. Dale Steyn hailed the 29-year-old for his recent performances. Coming at number two is his former teammate Kagiso Rabada. The rest of the three bowlers named by Steyn were Shaheen Afridi, Trent Bout, and Mark Wood.

When speaking about the Pakistani pacer, Steyn issued a warning to Rohit Sharma. Dale Steyn said, “Rohit Sharma, watch your pads”. Shaheen Afridi has dismissed the Indian skipper a few times already. The notable occasions were during the 2021 T20 World and the 2023 Asia Cup game at Pallekele.
