As the ODI World Cup approaches, teams have started their preparations for the tournament. However, after playing an intense ODI series against India, the Australian team is enjoying their time in Kerala. Ahead of the warm-up game, the Australian team was spotted riding an e-rickshaw in Kerala near the beach and spending time together.

In the viral video, former Australia skipper Steve Smith, along with Marnus Labuschagne, Alex Carry, and Sean Abbott, seems to be spending time near beaches. Smith shares the video, saying they were enjoying their time ahead of the high-pressure tournament. It is worth noting that Australia will start their World Cup campaign against India at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8.

It is worth noting that after losing two games against India in a three-match ODI series, Australia made a blistering comeback in the third game. Both Smith and Labuschagne scored half-centuries and helped Australia win the game. The team will also hope that their batting performances continue to help Australia beat others.

Australia is set to face India in the 2023 World Cup

It's worth noting that Australia will start their World Cup campaign against India at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on October 8. However, after that, the five-time champions will face South Africa at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ikana Stadium on October 12. At the same venue, the Aussies will face 1996 World Cup winner Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Australia, they will face Pakistan on October 20.

On the other hand, the Indian team will face Afghanistan at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on October 11. After that, the hosts will take on arch-rival Pakistan at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14. However, in other important games, India will face England in Lucknow, South Africa in Kolkata, and New Zealand in Dharamshala. Indians will have a lot of travel before the semifinals as they will play at nine different venues.
