Following India’s win against the Netherlands on Thursday in Sydney, Wasim Jaffer came up with a hilarious post on Twitter. Taking to his social media handle, he uploaded a picture of a samosa and asked teams to retweet that if they have more points than the Samosa.

“RT if your team has more points than this samosa 😉 #INDvNED #T20WorldCup”, Jaffer wrote as the caption.

Here's the Tweet:

Notably, only the Indian team have more than 3 points right now in the World Cup. The post could also be a dig at the Pakistan Cricket Team, who are yet to earn a point in the Super 12 stage of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Pakistan played their first match against India but lost that game by 4 wickets. They are currently playing their second match against Zimbabwe and would be looking to earn their first points.

India, on the other hand, registered their second win of the tournament on Thursday after beating the Netherlands by 56 runs. The Men in Blue notched a 179-run total in the first innings and later restricted the opposition to just 123.

KL Rahul, once again, got out early but skipper Rohit Sharma helped India get a strong start. He set the foundation with a 53-run knock in just 39 balls, including 3 sixes. The captain added 73 runs for the second wicket with Virat Kohli.

Once Rohit Sharma departed, Kohli switched gears and smacked boundaries at regular intervals. Suryakumar Yadav continued his fine form with the bat. His aggressive knock of 51 runs in just 25 balls was crucial to take India to a formidable total on the board.

Virat Kohli scored his second consecutive half-century in the tournament and this a big positive for the Indian team. The Men in Blue were equally brilliant with the ball as well. A combined bowling effort from the unit meant the Netherlands never looked like coming closer to the target.

Four bowlers, namely Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel, and Ravichandran Ashwin picked two wickets each.
