Cricketers after the 90s were more into the culture of fitness and their body was seen as a separate element to take care of. They spent more time building their physique becoming more muscular and bulkier which in turn gave them the looks of a wrestler.

The cricketers adapted so much better to the social media era and did not fret to post nude pictures of themselves on the internet. This has been a trend among cricketers in the modern era. Andrew Flintoff and Sourav Ganguly taking their shirt off are two instances that come to mind. Here are three cricketers who put out nude pictures of themselves on the internet.

They had this moment 14 years back. They went naked in for a Cosmopolitan magazine issue in 2008. The three cricketers who possessed such good looks held a nude pose holding cricket bats. They did this shoot to raise awareness about Testicular cancer. This picture has a permanent memory for fans in England and the cricket-loving public.

When the photoshoot was done the matter of them doing the shoot spread like wildfire. In Alistar Cook’s words, he was not comfortable when he did the whole shoot, but Stuart Broad accepted the idea more easily. When it came to James Anderson became the first cricketer to feature on the front cover of a gay lifestyle magazine.

This bold step was not only shown amongst male cricketers but also female cricketers like England batter and wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor, who had done a nude photoshoot herself. She took this step to raise awareness about the mental and physical well-being of a woman. The shoot involved her being bare and kept wickets.

She was a part of the England side that lifted the women’s 50-over World Cup in 2017. She has scored 4056 runs in the limited overs format in 126 matches with seven hundreds in her kitty. She got the runs at a strike rate of 83.32 and an average of 38.26. She also has 20 half-centuries. Sarah Taylor is no stranger to breaking stereotypes as she became the first women cricketer to coach in a franchise side at the Abu Dhabi T10 League.

Andre Russell has hogged the limelight yet again as he put out a naked picture of himself on his Instagram story. However, the now-deleted post has spread like wildfire among the fans. People on Twitter had a crazy time as they began to brutally troll him and also created a lot of memes on the same. The big Jamaican is known for having a chiselled body and sharp physique.

He is part of the two-time West Indies side who have won two 20-20 World Cup campaigns in 2012 and 2016. Russell has made a name for himself in the Indian T20 League as well for the Kolkata Franchise in 2014. He has changed the game with his big hitting and can also be a very useful option with the ball. He is also famous for the mohawk hairstyle that he sported for a long time.
