India made history as they clean-sweep England in a three-match ODI series in September last year. Despite the home side, England being nine wickets down, they were in the hunt thanks to Charlotte Dean. However, Deepti Sharma ended her innings with a timely run out at the non-striker's end. Dean was not happy with the way she was dismissed and was in tears.
The incident was talked about recently and a fan put up a tweet on the incident which said, ‘Tell me you’re a horrible person without telling me’. After the tweet was put up, Megan Schutt, Aussie Women’s cricketer liked the disputed tweet which irked the Indian fans. The tweet involved Indians doing non-striker run out's. It was also in relation to the Deepti Sharma incident.
Here is a screenshot of the tweet -
Okay Schutter 👍💔

The incident created a lot of furor on social media and it was debated for a long time in the cricketing fraternity. A lot of people sided with Deepti Sharma and on the other hand, Deepti copped a lot of flak for the incident with a lot of people questioning her on the spirit of the game.
The incident happened when both teams locked horns in the third ODI at Lords, Jhulan Goswami’s farewell game. This incident took all the focus off her and the non-striker run-out was much talked about.
Schutt has been a very important part of the Australian fast bowling attack with her game-changing inswingers and also her deadly leg cutters which she has included in her armory recently. In 2019 she became the first bowler in women’s cricket to take two hat-tricks in international cricket.
She got her first hat-trick against West Indies in an ODI followed by the same feat in a T20I against India the previous year. At the 2020 20-20 World Cup, Schutt was again the leading wicket-taker with 13 wickets which included four in the final against India. In early 2021 she became the second-fastest Women Cricketer to 100 ODI wickets.
Twitter was raging let us take a look at the reactions here-

No no.. She should put her name forward.. And the best would be when her name is called, no team puts their paddles up and she remains unsold.. That would be more fun and interesting.
