India, after losing captain Rohit Sharma on the 2nd ball of the innings, witnessed a remarkable partnership of 189 runs between Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill. This partnership both stabilized the innings and maintained an impressive run rate.

Despite their excellent performance, it was a bittersweet moment as both batters narrowly missed scoring centuries, leaving fans with mixed emotions.
