The Afghanistan cricket team thrashed Pakistan by eight wickets during their fifth game of the ODI World Cup 2023 on Monday. Notably, Afghanistan recorded a great win over the Men in Green on October 23 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai for the first time in its history. Following the win, Afghanistan stands with two wins out of five in the ongoing marquee event.

However, following the win, former India cricketer turned commentator Irfan Pathan was seen dancing with Gujarat Titans star Rashid Khan. Afghanistan great spinner Rashid Khan broke into the dance with former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who was doing the team analysis with renowned broadcaster Jatin Sapru. Notably, Irfan Pathan left the post-match analysis and erupted in joy with Rashid Khan on the ground.

Speaking about the game, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first. Notably, after being opted to bat first, the Men in Green posted a decent total of 282/7 in the given 50 overs. However, during the chase, Afghanistan's top-order batsmen, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zardan, and Rahmat Shah, struck out scintillating knocks that helped their side win the game against Pakistan.
