Legends League Cricket season 2 is all set to get away from September 16 with a special match between World Giants and India Maharajas. The special match will be played to celebrate India's 75 years of Independence. From the next day, September 17, the group stage matches of the Legends League cricket will kick off. We'll have a slightly varied season with four new teams taking on each other.

The format of the game will be the first two teams playing the qualifiers and the third team will play the eliminator against the loser of the qualifier. The winner of the qualifier will make it through to the finals and so will the winner of the eliminator. Bhilwara Kings, Gujarat Giants, Manipal Tigers and India capitals are the teams that will be competing this year.

Venues:

The league stages will be held across five venues:

Kolkata - Eden Gardens

Lucknow - Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Stadium, Ekana

New Delhi - Arun Jaitley International Stadium, Feroz Shah Kotla

Cuttack - Barabati Stadium

Jodhpur - Barkatullah Khan Stadium

The qualifier will take place at Jodhpur and the venues for the Eliminator and the final are awaited.

Timing:

All matches will begin at 7:30 PM IST except for the match between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants on September 25. Qualifier 1 on October 2 is also scheduled to have an early start.
