In the 18th game of the Women's T20 League 2023, Delhi's Jemimah Rodrigues took a great catch against Mumbai. The incident happened in the fourth over of Mumbai's innings. Hayley Matthews tried to play a lofted on-drive over mid-on. However, she failed to get enough elevation and was caught by Rodrigues as he dove towards her right to complete the catch.
This was the third wicket to fall in Mumbai's innings with Marizanne Kapp taking two back-to-back wickets in the third over. Meanwhile, the fans are praising Rodrigues' efforts on the field.

Delhi thrashed Mumbai by nine wickets
Meanwhile, in the game, India's national capital-based side brushed aside Harmanpreet Kaur's Mumbai. After electing to bowl first, Delhi bowlers started giving regular jolts to their opponents. Marizanne Kapp, Shikha Pandey, and Arundhati Reddy took four wickets combined in the first seven overs. At 21/4, the likes of Kaur and Pooja Vastrakar put together 37 runs for the fifth wicket.
However, after the latter's wicket, the team was folded to 109/8 at the end of the innings. For the Meg Lanning-led side, Kapp, Pandey, and Jess Jonassen took two wickets each. In reply, Delhi chased down the target in just nine overs, improving their NRR and also the chances to directly qualifying for the final by finishing first.
"Great game, hard to fault much. Set it up really nicely with the ball, Capsey was superb, Aru Reddy was excellent, she's been building up all tournament. She's very talented, always willing to learn and go out there and play well. Even when she wasn't playing or bowling, she was really engaged. To see her play well is really nice. Just great we could have a win tonight, looking forward to continuing that tomorrow. Tonight we put together a great performance with bat and ball, when you get to the business end of the tournament, you need to put together both and we did that," Meg Lanning, the Delhi skipper said in the post-match.
