The England Team are currently on 112-5 after the first session of play in the 4th Test. There were some decent knocks played by Zack Crawley and Jonny Bairstow, playing some great cameos the England getters overall failed in this series. It was Akashdeep who was the hero of the session and took three wickets on debut dismissing the likes of Zack Crawley, Ollie Pope and Ben Duckett.

The England side have made two changes in the side. The visitors have replaced the likes of Mark Wood for Ollie Robinson and the surprise replacement where Shoaib Bashir came in for Rehan Ahmed. Rehan had performed decently in the series taking 11 wickets from his 3 games. He also made crucial breakthroughs when his team needed it. With this performance, it doesn’t make sense why the young leg spinner was left out.

Rehan missing the last two due to personal reasons

Rehan was recently flown back home to England. The spinner had informed the board that he had to go home due to a family emergency. With this, he is set to miss both the 4th and 5th Test in the series. This is a setback for England since the young bowler had made a promising start to his career. This would have been the last thing Ben Stokes and his team would have wanted going into the match that could decide their faith.

Rehan will be missed in this series completely. He could have also been a major asset in the playing squad on this dry pitch in Ranchi. We hope that Rehan and his family will be absolutely fine. This is an unfortunate circumstance in the series, which he will not want to be happening in this important game for his team. Rehan was already a crucial memeber of the team from the start and his absence could hurt the visitors in this ongoing series.
