The India vs England 4th Test is set to begin at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi. This is a match where both the teams will be under pressure. The Indians will want to win this game to seal the series completely and continue their dominance against England in the sub-continent. For England it is a do or die game, where ben Stokes and his men will have nothing to lose as this one win can keep them alive in the series.
Rohit Sharma and co will be confident going into this Test match after a big win last game. It was a show from the left handers. It was Ravindra Jadeja with his all-round performance and Yashasvi Jaiswal with his phenomenal double hundred. The last game also saw India achieving their biggest win in the longest format as they beat the Poms by a margin of 434 runs. The home team will want to continue the same form in Ranchi as well.
The weather in Ranchi
The temperature at Ranchi will be close to 27 to 30 degrees Celsius. Most of the days should be decent enough for playing in the first 4 days, but there are still slight chances of rain on the final day. However, this should still be a match which should go uninterrupted for most of the games. The players will be hoping that the rain stays away as far as possible. But suppose the team is playing in overcast conditions, it can be a much different playing than we were expecting first up.
Otherwise, the surface at JSCA has been known to support the spinners more than the pacers. It has been a classic rank turner in the past and it will most likely be the same ground where the spinners will enjoy the amount of grip and turn. Weather the rain gods will affect the game we will just have to wait and see. This is one of the most important games in the series that could either decide the series and no one will want it to end on a bad note.
