The five-match T20I series is still alive after Australia(AUS) successfully chased down a mammoth target of 223 runs in the third T20I at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati courtesy of another sensational innings by Glenn Maxwell who scored 104 in just 48 overs overshadowing Ruturaj Gaikwad’s maiden international century.
Despite getting a big total on the board in the first innings the Indian's(IND) bowlers floundered giving away more than 40 runs in just 2 overs. Heavy dew on the field played its part in a dismal bowling show by the Indian bowlers but the inability to hold their nerves and not land Yorkers proved to be India’s nemesis in the 3rd T20I.
Despite the loss India is leading the series by 2-1 and they landed in Raipur for the 3rd T20 to seal the fate of the series by winning the next match. Shreyas Iyer will join the squad as the vice-captain which could result in the ouster of either one of the batters from the current playing XI which will most likely be Yashasvi Jaiswal.
On the other hand, Deepak Chahar could get a game in place of Prasidh Krishna as he has been very costly in all the 3 matches of the series. Australia on the other hand will miss the services of Glenn Maxwell as he is returning to Australia after a highly successful tour.

Pitch and Playing Conditions
In Raipur, batsmen might encounter challenges as the pitch tends to slow down as the game progresses. This situation provides an advantage to spinners, while pacers need to depend on variations and slower deliveries, a common expectation for matches in this venue.
However, like the last match the dew may set in again and could play a decisive role in the match, therefore the team winning the toss would look to chase. The temperature in Raipur will hover around 25% degrees Celsius and rain is unlikely to affect the match.
