Rishabh Pant was to go to the NCA ahead of the Australia series
According to what Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar told India Today , he was driving his BMW which caught fire after hitting the divider. He was alone in the car and broke the window to escape the burning vehicle. According to the doctors, He has sustained injuries on his forehead and leg. He was severely injured after the accident.
Pant has been in two shades concerning his cricket. The left-handed batter has been in roaring form in Test match cricket he recently scored a game-changing 93 in the second Test against Bangladesh which gave India a 2-0 series win. He was going to come down to Bengaluru to the National Cricket Academy ahead of the series against Australia in February.
The wicketkeeper batter has not had the best of times in limited overs cricket and T20s as he has been going through a lean patch of form. He had a 20-20 World Cup to forget in Australia as he scored nine runs in two innings at an average of 4.50 and a strike rate of 100.00.
