The star Serbian Tennis player Novak Djokovic won the thriller game against the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz in the Cincinnati Open Final by 5-7, 7-6 (9/7), 7-6 (7/4) to lift the title. After Djokovic won the hardcourt tournament, the organizers posted a picture of him blowing a kiss in front of a spectator. The 23 times Grand Slam winner thanked them for posting the pictures and made the cheeky comment that in the pictures he is looking drunk.

It is pertinent to mention that this picture was possible because, during the game, a fan from the stands brought her mobile phone close to Djokovic in order to capture the image. Seeing this, the Serbian came and gave a flying kiss towards the camera while moving towards the phone. On popular demand, Novak did the flying kiss gesture once again.

Haha, thanks for posting photos in which I look like I was drunk on the court: Novak Djokovic

“Time flies. Four years seems like it was yesterday,so it's definitely nice to be back. I've had some really nice memories from this tournament. Winning it in 2018 obviously is a highlight for me, because it was the only Masters I hadn't won for years.I think I lost four or five finals mostly to Roger .But I played well in the past and was really glad to have a chance to come back to the States,” said Djokovic during the tournament.

This game was hyped because of the last clash between Alcaraz and Djokovic. Alcaraz last faced Djokovic in Wimbledon 2023 Final and won. Now the 36-year-old has taken his revenge against the youngster, lifting his third Cincinnati Masters title. The veteran Tennis player has been off the court for one month after the heartbreaking loss in London and has not played on US soil for two years.

Interestingly, the clash in the finals of the Masters 1000 trophy was the third meeting between them. In the last two months, Djokovic has won two clashes against the Spanish youngster in three meetings. The Serbian beat him in the French Open semi-final in June 2023. But in that fixture, the 20-year-old retired from the game as he suffered cramps in his muscles.
