Here's how Aditi Hundia- Ishan Kishan's girlfriend reacted to his sensational double century against Bangladesh

Ishan Kishan brought out a sensational double century against Bangladesh in the third ODI. The southpaw batted his heart out at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium and smashed Bangladesh bowlers all around the ground. In just 131 balls, Kishan was able to make a humongous 210 runs, breaking multiple records in the process.

Kishan was in such good form that he scored a double century with more than 18 overs of the game still to be played. With the speed at which he was going, Kishan could have scored a triple-century as well- something that he claimed in his post-innings interview.

“The wicket was too good to bat, and my intent was very clear. I got out with 15 overs left. I could have scored 300, as well. I am blessed to hear my name amid such legends (200 plus club). Batting with Virat Bhai, he has such a good sense of the game. He was calming me down when I was in my 90s. I wanted to bring it up with a six, but he said to get in singles as it’s your first. Had a chat with Surya bhai – he said when you bat before the game, you see the ball well. I didn’t take too much pressure on myself. Just wanted to make use of the opportunity,” Kishan was quoted as saying post the first innings.

Kishan’s daring innings, as well as he fearless cricket, has impressed all among whom is Kishan’s reported girlfriend, Aditi Hundia. To show her appreciation of Kishan’s sensational double century Hundia shared Indian Cricket Board’s post on her Instagram story.

Puts the cat among the pigeons- Dinesh Karthik

Kishan’s innings has also impressed Dinesh Karthik who has claimed that Ishan has laid his claim to India’s opening slot with this knock.

“It was beautiful to watch the way Ishan paced his innings after first five overs. The kind of shots he played, he took on bowlers consistently. The beauty about 200 was the strike rate; at 160, scoring a double hundred is special effort. He batted beautifully, the last 100 coming off 41 balls says a lot. That's the skill, that's why he has been picked by the Mumbai franchise at such a high price,” Karthik said on Cricbuzz.

“He's somebody who is going to deliver. This, in many ways, puts the cat among the pigeons when it comes to the openers,” the star wicketkeeper further said.
