With the end of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit, multiple tournament organizers have taken it upon themselves to continue the Dota 2 esports scene. The BetBoom Dacha Dubai is one of the tournaments filling the void for Dota 2 Pro Circuit.
The event started last year and swiftly became one of the top-tier Dota 2 esports events thanks to its massive $1 million prize pool. A total of 12 teams took part in the tournament group stages.
Out of these 12, Seven teams were directly invited, while the other five made their way through regional qualifiers. The group stage for the event recently concluded, with eight teams moving forward to Playoffs. The losing teams were positioned 9th-12th on the leaderboard and went home with $20,000.

With the group stage matches concluded, these teams will now face each other in the Playoffs. All teams will start from the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. Matches will be played in a Double-elimination bracket.
Losers will move to the Lower Bracket Round 1 and will have one last chance to reach the finals. All matches will be played in a best-of-three format. The grand finals, however, will be best-of-five and feature a prize of $400,000.

The Upper Bracket Quarterfinals will take place on February 11. Winners will be moving to the semifinals on February 13. Two of the four losing teams will get one more chance to move to the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals.
