WATCH: MS Dhoni interacts with fans over Pakistani food

The Indian Premier is all set to begin next year with a lot of big names in the mix and a lot of iconic faces. The whole country will be eager to watch their favourite players in what is the biggest T20 franchise tournament in the world. One of the big names people will be looking forward to is none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The Chennai Super Kings(CSK) skipper will feature in the upcoming season as well making it a record 17th IPL season. The one and only captain cool or Thala for some people has already done everything in the IPL right from leading a side to winning the title 5 times. There might be questions about his retirement since he is 42 years old, but it is always a great moment to see him enter the field once again.

Dhoni has featured in 250 IPL matches has been the skipper for the Super Kings in 199 games and has a win rate of over 60%. He has also scored more than 5000 runs for the franchise as well making him one of the top 10 highest run scorers in IPL history. His average of 38.79 and a strike rate of over 135 made him one of the most dangerous batters in the IPL known for his finishing and wise decision-making. Dhoni is also a great personality off the field where he also handles himself in a cool and collective manner as well. There is hardly a moment where the 5-time IPL-winning skipper has lost his composure. 

Dhoni’s classic interaction with a fan

In an interview, Dhoni was once again seen interacting with his fans and giving his honest opinions. During the interview, Dhoni was suggesting how he enjoyed the food in Pakistan during the 2006 tour. Dhoni also told the fan that he should also try the food in Pakistan when he ever visits there. The reply Dhoni got from him caused a lot of laughs during the interview. Dhoni was also seen laughing his heart out as the fan replied “I’m not going there even if you suggest good food. I love food, but I won’t go there.”

This interaction showed us that the former India skipper still knew how to get along with his fans. Dhoni might be a nightmare for every bowler, but when it comes to interacting with people he is a class apart. This is the reason why his name is still chanted after he has retired from international cricket and has not played a lot of games recently. Dhoni is not only known for his batting, keeping and captaincy, but also for his great personality as well, which will stick with every cricket fan for a long time.
