WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah replicates Ravichandran Ashwin's action during practice session

We are seeing some great scenes during the practice session of the Indian team at Cape Town. The Indians will look to be well prepared for the 2nd Test in the Newlands Cricket ground at Cape Town. This is a do-or-die match for the Indians to save the series against the hosts and come back stronger in the game. This will be a Test for Rohit Sharma and his men and come back after the disappointing encounter in the first game. They will be under pressure and their chances of finally winning a Test series in the rainbow nation will still be a dream, but they will still look to fight back in this final game and surprise the hosts at the Newlands.

There have recently been some practice scenes on social media of the Indian team preparing for the Test match. The clips of players like Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have all gone viral.  These are good scenes captured by the fans who are seeing the players work hard before a big game. This shows that the team is determined to win this game and save the series. The proteas will be equally ready, but the Indians are showing that they still can’t be counted out.

Bumrah copying Ashwin

One of the clips that has gone viral is the Star Sports clip on X that shows Bumrah imitating Ravichandran Ashwin’s bowling action in front of the great off-spinner. It might be only fun and games, but the fans were surprised at how perfectly the fast bowler replicated the action. Bumrah was also seen celebrating at the end after bowling a delivery with the same action. This shows both the sense of humour and skill of Bumrah as well, where he was seen copying the mannerisms and delivery stride of Ashwin as well.

These clips are a treat to watch, showing the human side of these invincible players on the field, where like everybody, even they enjoy playing around and having fun with each other. Seeing all the players having a positive attitude before the Test match is a good sign. Let's hope this leads to some good fortunes in the upcoming Test match and the Indians can finally manage to save the series and keep their chances alive to play their third consecutive World Test Championship(WTC) final.
