Hardik Pandya uploaded a video of his gym session on social media handle. The star All-rounder will be hoping to return to playing as soon as possible. In the video, Hardik was seen going through heavy drills. The star player was working on the strength of his arms. The focus was on back of Hardik which is not highly stable to be athletic.
Hardik was seen working on his arms by pulling the ropes. The Mumbai Indians captain seemd to enjoy his process of returning to full fitness. He also lifted heavy dumb bells in the gym session. With that, there were several other drills that were assigned to the star cricketer by his instructor in the session. The fans started sharing the video of the same.

The last few months have not been great for the Indian cricketer. Hardik was traded from Gujarat Titans to MI for a price of INR 15 crores. Further, Hardik was announced as the captain of MI for IPL 2024 which did not go well with the fans of Rohit Sharma. There has been hate spread by the fans of Rohit against Hardik for asking to lead MI in the 17th edition of the league.
Hardik Pandya's ankle injury
In the 2023 ODI World Cup, the star cricketer sustained an ankle injury midway through the tournament which kept him out of the rest of the tournament. Since then, Hardik has missed out on playing in the other series against top sides. In the match against Bangladesh, Hardik hurt his ankle in an attempt to stop the ball from reaching the boundary ropes after bowling.
After the incident, Hardik was carried out by stretchers. The injury was serious and he has not played a match since then. India has played without Hardik in the series against South Africa and Australia. He is all set to miss out on the series against Afghanistan as well. The focus of Hardik would now be to be fir before the start of the IPL 2024 where he set to lead MI.
