Sourav Ganguly is no doubt one of the most successful players and captains of India and even went on to be one of the top administrators of the game as well. With over 18000 runs in international cricket, he has established himself as one of the best Indian batters in the team along with Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid and is the 5th highest run scorer for his nation. He has been part of some of the great moments in the sport that have put Indian cricket on the map. Ganguly will always be remembered for creating a platform for the Indian team where they were able to be one of the most competitive sides in international cricket.
Ganguly still continued serving the Indian team after retirement as well when he was appointed as the president of the Indian Cricket Board. His run from 2019 to 2022 established him as one of the top administrators in the game as well. He is currently the chairman of men’s cricket for the Apex Cricket Council and has been in the office for 3 years. It is safe to say Sourav Ganguly has faced more success than failure in his entire career and has been involved in grooming some really talented players in his playing and administrative career.
Ganguly’s phone robbed
We all know that Ganguly was considered as one of the most stylish batters and great strategies that surprised the opposition, but there are still some shocks and surprises that he has experienced as well. The former India skipper has faced one of them as his house was robbed with his 1.6 lakh rupee phone was also stolen. The former legend has gone on to file a complaint to the Thakurpur police station as well. This news has spread and there are rumours going around whether there will be some important data in the phone as well which can cause a lot of problems.
This is by far one of the most unfortunate situations Ganguly has to go through and we hope that there are no problems faced. There will be a lot of problems regarding this since he is also one of the top guys in the Apex Council as well. The investigation by the police is still going on and even though there is no trace of the phone yet, we all are hoping that Ganguly will get his belongings as soon as possible and the thief is caught. These are tough times for the former cricketer and Indian Cricket Board president and we know he is surely going to fight through it as he has done his entire life.
