The official schedule for the T20 World Cup 2024 is likely to be out on January 8, which is set to take place in the United States of America and the West Indies in June. For the first time in the history of the sport, 20 or more teams will be taking part in the main event. It is a huge event in cricket and might be a game-changing event for the sport.

Reports claim certain dates for the big games in the tournament although nothing has been official yet. The tournament is likely to begin in June. India is likely to have its games from the 5th of June. India and Pakistan are grouped along with the teams like Ireland, Canada, and the hosts, the USA. India will be the favourite to top the group.

20 teams are grouped in 4 different pools where each of them will get to play 4 games against 4 other teams in the group. India will be playing Canada on the 15th of June and the USA on the 12th of June. The teams that end the group in the first 2 spots are likely to progress to the Super 8 stage which would be of the round-robin format. 

India to face Pakistan on June 9

In their second game, India will be facing the challenge of Pakistan on the 9th of June. India vs Pakistan is one of the biggest rivalries in cricket and the fans are always excited for the big clash whenever the two teams meet.
