List of top Google searches from Pakistan revealed; here's how Babar Azam ranked

Google being the most popular search engine in the world right now it is to no surprise that even the most popular sportsman also features on the list for most searches. We all know that Virat Kohli is currently the most searched cricketer in the world, but surprisingly, Pakistan Star batter Babar Azam is not even in the top 10 searches on Google in his own country. Babar has given some great performances in his career and is still a top-ranked batter for Pakistan. This is why it is still a mystery as to why he hasn’t featured on the list. There were also comparisons made between him and Kohli who also hasn’t made it to the list despite his popularity all over the world.

Who made the List?

There have been a lot of people who have featured on the list in place of Babar. They are Pakistan's young sensations Saud Shakeel, Abdullah Shafique and Usman Khan. India’s Rising star Shubman Gill has also featured at number 8 who has already made a mark in the cricketing world in his short career in international cricket so far. The India batter has even overtaken Baber becoming the number 1 ranked ODI batter.

The fact that Gill has overtaken both of these top batters in international cricket gives us a glimpse of what his future in cricket can be. He also has one of the highest averages in cricket right now and is the first-choice opening batter for India in One-day cricket and test matches.  Gill has already started breaking records and is already one of the best batters right now. It is no surprise that he is one of the most popular players right now and is rising through the ranks.

Babar might not be the most searched sportsman on Google, but we cannot ignore the fact that he is still one of the most skilled players in cricket right now. The list does not diminish the world-class batter's ability to score runs consistently and still play the way he has and achieve great success. He still has a lot of cricket left in him and will be looking to make a comeback into the game and might even feature on top of every list once again.
