Former India wicket keeper batter praises Yashasvi Jaiswal for his great performances in the Test series vs England

The India vs England 5-match series has witnessed some great performances that we have enjoyed. Both Indian and English players have had some great knocks and spells that have been iconic. The likes of Ravindra Jadeja and Shubman Gill have been great in the series so far. On the other hand, we have seen some iconic performances from England players such as Zack Crawley, Tom Hartley and Ollie Pope. There is no doubt that all of them are some of the most talented players in the ranks right now, but the star of the series so far has been none other than Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Jaiswal has had a series to remember so far and has played some incredible innings already. Right for the 1^st Test match, Jaiswal has shown his attacking style of cricket, which has given every England bowler a nightmare. Jaiswal is currently averaging over 100 in this series with 545 runs from the 3 Test matches. He has also scored two double-centuries as well. With two games remaining in the series with the Indians in the lead, Jaiswal will want to continue the same consistency going forward in his Test career.

Parthiv Patel praises the young star

On the Colours Cineplex channel India former wicketkeeper batter Parthiv Patel also had some great words to say about Jaiswal and his performance saying “ In Yashasvi Jaiswal, we saw everything you want to see in a complete batter and that is why you are seeing so many runs against his name.” While saying this the 38-year-old 3-time Indian Premier League(IPL) champion mentioned how he dealt with the likes of James Anderson and how much range he has shown as a player. There are also great things Parthiv has said about how he has improved his game against spin as well.

These words from the experienced campaigner show us how much of an impact Jaiswal is making. He has been the best batter in the series so far and it looks like there is no stopping him. His ability to score runs on both sides of the wicket and play his natural aggressive style of game makes him a threat to everyone  who will be up against him. The talent and maturity he has shown in his performances as well is something to admire. He is giving the England team a taste of their own medicine and he is enjoying every bit of it.
