Chennai Super Kings pacer Deepak Chahar falls victim to online food delivery scam

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is set to begin on the 22nd of March at the Chepauk. The fans are excited and can’t wait to witness the Chennai Super kings (CSK) against the Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB). CSK will go into the tournament as defending champions as well. The battle will be set between MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli at one of the most iconic grounds in India. All eyes will be on this contest that is set to open the tournament with a bang.

Apart from captain cool there is another player who the CSK fans are eager to see as well. It is none other than Deepak Chahar. Chahar has been one of the top performers for the men in yellow in the past. The 31-year-old pacer had to miss most of the season due to injury but will be making a comeback in the upcoming season. Chahar will be one of the key bowlers for the Super Kings with the new ball and the fans and the teams will want him at his best.

Chahar scammed

There has been an unfortunate incident regarding the star pacer recently. Deepak Chahar had made an order on Zomato, but his order was still not delivered. The app also said that the order was delivered as well. This went viral as Chahar posted on social media saying “ "New fraud in India. Ordered food from @zomato and the app shows delivered but didn’t receive anything. After calling customer service they also said that it’s been delivered and I'm lying. M sure a lot of people must be facing the same issues. Tag @zomato and tell your story."

This might be a terrible incident regarding the sportsman, but it was still a great stand taken by him. Chahar has strongly protested against the food delivery company. We hope this issue is resolved as soon as possible. There have been a lot of problems regarding these issues which even normal people face. This is actually a very tough day for Chahar, who would not like to get stuck in situations like these just before the start of the IPL season. Everyone will want the culprits to be caught as soon as possible.
