It will be payback day Once again in Big Bash League(BBL) 2023-24 as match 28 will feature the Melbourne Stars (STA) and the Sydney Sixers (SIX) once again and this time it will be held on the biggest stage in cricket at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG). The last time these two sides faced each other was more than 10 days ago when the Stars got the better of the Sixers winning that contest by 4 wickets with just 3 balls to spare at the Sydney Cricket Ground(SCG). The Stars will be really confident especially after they will also have the home-ground advantage in this game as well. It will again be a battle between two flamboyant all-rounder captains where Glen Maxwell's stars will look to shine and Moises Henrique's boys will look for redemption.

The Melbourne Stars might have had a really slow start to their season, but right now they seem to have found their perfect combination winning 4 games in a row to get their season underway. They are currently sitting at the number 4 spot with 8 points on the board winning 4 out of 7 games. They will want to continue their winning streak and get closer and closer to the playoffs. Their win against the Melbourne Renegades in the Melbourne derby also showed why they are one of the sides to watch out for right now.
