Australia and West Indies will face off each other in a two-match T20I series prior to the start of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. While the Aaron Finch-led team will come under the Super 12 category, the Caribbean brigade will have a bigger task as they will play the qualifiers first.

West Indies come under Group B in the qualifiers and they will look to end up in the top two. Both teams are known for producing players who can fire with the bat and with the ball.

Here are the three players to watch out for in high-voltage series:

1) David Warner

David Warner will look to make an impact in the upcoming series with his bellicose intent. The southpaw has scored 130 runs in three games this year and also has one fifty to his name.

However, Warner will look forward to showing a better version of himself in the series against Men in Maroon. If at all the southpaw manages to fire in the series, he will cause a lot of bollix.

2) Shamarh Brooks

Shamarh Brooks will march onto the field after enjoying an enlivening Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2022. The right-handed batter has had a decent year so far and will look to capitalize on it in the series against Kangaroos.

Brooks gathered 241 runs in the CPL this year at an average of 40.16. In addition to it, the aggressive batter also scored a century to his name. Now that he has replaced Shimron Hetmyer in the squad, all eyes will be upon him to make an impact on the team.

3) Cameron Green

Cameron Green is a recent addition to the Australian squad. The Australia batter scored 118 runs in the recently concluded T20I series against India. Above all, he scored those runs at a strike rate of 214.54 and crushed the Indian bowling.

Green would look to replicate the same in the series against the Caribbean. However, he is not a part of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 squad and might seal the place for future tournaments. If he continues with the form, the Australian selectors will have no choice but to pick the player.
