Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, known for his exceptional batting skills, has gained a massive fan following all over the world. He holds the title of being the most followed Indian on Instagram and is the third most followed sportsperson globally, with over 247 million followers on Instagram and 55.3 million on Twitter. Recently, Bollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna expressed her love for Kohli and called him her favourite cricketer. She also revealed her love for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), her favourite IPL team.

"I am from Bangalore, I am from Karnataka and we have 'Ee Sala Cup Namde' slogan going on, so I think that just carried on. I hope this time IPL I can go and see RCB play," Mandanna said in a video tweeted by Star Sports. While talking about Kohli, she praised him and called him a swagger. "Virat Sir, he is a swagger, he is awesome," she added.

Meanwhile, Kohli has been delivering an exceptional performance this season in the IPL. He has hit five half-centuries in eight matches and has amassed 333 runs at a sublime average of 47.57. In addition, Kohli became the first player to score 3000 runs at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru in the shortest format.

However, despite Kohli's impressive performance, RCB has struggled to maintain momentum in the tournament. They are currently placed at the sixth spot on the points table, with four wins in seven matches. While RCB played their penultimate match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium this season, they are set to play their next five matches on the road before returning to Bengaluru for one final time this season on May 21.

With most teams bunched up closely in the standings, the margin for errors has reduced in the second half of the competition. Kohli, along with Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell, has been doing all the scoring for RCB in the eight games so far. However, it is high time for the likes of Mahipal Lomror, Shahbaz Ahmed, and Dinesh Karthik to step up and support the team.

In the upcoming match, RCB will look to take revenge against the Lucknow Super Giants, who beat them in a last-ball thriller earlier this season in Bengaluru. With Kohli leading the team, fans will be hoping for a great performance in the remaining matches of the tournament.
