After the conclusion of the T20Is against New Zealand, team India led by Rohit Sharma will take on Australia in a four-match Test series, popularly called the Border-Gavaskar trophy. The Australian team are on their way to the Indian subcontinent and the Baggy Greens are bracing for the highly-competitive contest.
The trophy is with India, the one that they won during the tour to Australia in 2020/21 and emerged victorious in the final Test at Gabba in style. Ahead of the series, the Australian star batter Marnus Labuschagne took to Twitter to update about taking ‘KGs’ of coffee to India ahead of the series as he requested the fans to guess the number of bags he is taking with him.
“Just a few KG of coffee on its way to Guess how many bags?" Labuschagne wrote on his Twitter account. Replying to the same, the Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik wrote that the cricketer can get good coffee in India as well, with fans replying that Labuschagne might be promoting the coffee brand that he posted, “You get great coffee in India too mate,” replied Karthik.
Here is Dinesh Karthik’s reply to Marnus Labuschagne:
You get great coffee in india too mate 😊

Can India win in the absence of Rishabh Pant?
Whenever India contested against Australia, Rishabh Pant played a vital role in the team’s victory and with him recovering at the hospital, it remains to be seen if Rohit and his men could clinch the series and retain the trophy, given that the Australian allrounder Marcus Stoinis claimed that they have best spinners in the camp this time around.
“India have some specialist bowlers like Ashwin and Jadeja. They can really bowl well but we are also coming with some specialist spinners, so you can expect a good competition this time. Kohli is a world-class batsman and has returned to form and he is one of the best Test batters, so he could be the biggest threat once again for us. But one player who will be missed this season badly is Rishabh Pant. He is unfortunately not with the team. I wish he recovers soon and comes back to the field,” Stoinis was quoted as saying.
