'You are a disaster' - fans on Twitter slur Bhuvneshwar Kumar for his continuing his poor form against Australia in the first T20I

India faced Australia in the first T20I at Mohali. One could only say that the Indian fans are hurt and this comes after the Men in Blue’s poor bowling display. Barring Umesh Yadav and Axar Patel, no other bowler seemed to show intent for India. Even in this case, the former leaked many runs and his two-for proved not to be helpful for Men in Blue. Bhuvneshwar Kumar's failure, however, turned out to be the talk of the town after the conclusion of the match. 

India’s trusted pacer leaked many runs in the penultimate over yet again. Fans started slamming the team India skipper Rohit Sharma even before he handed the ball to the lead pacer for the penultimate over. To comment on the anger from fans, one might have to trace it back to the Asia Cup 2022. 

The pacer leaked many runs in the penultimate over against Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the Super 4s round of the continental tournament. The frustrated fans warned the Indian management to never hand over the ball to Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the penultimate over. 

However, the team looked like they did not learn from its past as they did the same mistake yet again. It proved to be costly for India and Bhuvneshwar Kumar left very little for Yuzvendra Chahal to defend in the final over. 

Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s blunder against Australia 

Speaking of the match, India put on a mammoth total of 208 after Hardik Pandya’s beautifully crafter half-century. However, the Indian pace attack led by the veteran pacer looked clueless against a fiery Aussie batting attack. 

The Meerut-born let team India down yet again as he conceded as many as 52 runs in his spell. If one had to comment on his penultimate over, the 32-year-old conceded 16 runs in the over alone. Adding to the dismay of Indian fans, Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded extras succumbing to the pressure. 

Australia, despite losing a wicket in the final over, clinched the match with four balls to spare.
