'Yeh tho street champion hai' -Fans in awe as Rashid Khan indulges in a game of gully cricket in Gujarat

Rashid Khan has had a good season in the Indian Premier League 2023 so far. The wrist-spinner is in fourth place for the Purple Cap. The Afghan has picked up 15 wickets from nine matches for the Gujarat Titans.  However, the interesting thing is that his economy rate has been higher when compared to the last season. His economy rate last season was 6.6 and his economy rate this season is 8.56.

A video of Rashid playing a game of gully cricket in the streets of Ahmedabad has gone viral. The leggie can be seen batting and enjoying a wonderful game of cricket along with the locals in Gujarat. The fans are also very seen chanting 'Avva de Avva de' and cheering Rashid on. Khan showed what his batting skills are made of in the game and he played some good shots.

Aman Hakim Khan made a heroic fifty against Gujarat Titans in their last game

GT has been wonderful so far in the season as well. They have had 12 points with six wins and three losses so far. The Titans lost a humdinger of the game against Delhi Capitals which was played at the Narendra Modi Stadium. DC managed to win by a narrow margin of five runs. This was due to amazing bowling from Khaleel Ahmed and Ishant Sharma. The duo dried up the runs and kept GT in check.

When the Capitals batted first, they were in a spot of bother at 73-6, but Aman Hakim Khan was the hero for them, the right-hander came in and played a brilliant knock off 51 off 44 balls with three fours and three sixes. This allowed the 2020 finalists to get to 130-8 in their 20 overs. In reply, the defending champions could only manage 125-6 in their 20 overs.

Ishant bowled a heroic last over and picked up the wicket of Rahul Tewatia with a brilliantly executed knuckleball. DC found a way to keep fighting and achieved a victory in the end. Although GT were in a great position in the 20th over, they were not able to outthink Ishant who showed that he still had a few tricks up his sleeve.
