India is gearing up for their first match of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 against Pakistan on the 23rd of October. Meanwhile, the teams and the Apex Cricket Council are full-fledged promoting the mega event. The Apex Cricket Council posted a video with some of the Indian players encouraging the fans to support them for the World Cup.

They have, however, received a lot of criticism for not including former Indian captain Virat Kohli in the video. The Apex Cricket Council has one of the best digital teams. Cricket fans all over the world adore their innovative use of match videos, out-of-the-box ideas for Instagram reels, and eye-catching infographics. During the World Cup, their social media pages become more active than ever.

On Tuesday, they shared a video on Instagram with India captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain KL Rahul, new star Suryakumar Yadav, and premier leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. The video, which showed all these players placing their hands on their chests, was captioned "Are you ready for India?"

In the meantime, India will look to do well in their first encounter against Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The last time these two arch-rivals met in a World Cup game, Babar Azam's team won by 10 wickets. The Men In Blue will look to take their vengeance in the all-important clash on the 23rd of October. On the other hand, Pakistan would want to dominate the opposition this time as well.

Before the clash against Pakistan, India will face New Zealand in a warm-up game at the Gabba on the 19th of October. The Rohit Sharma-led team won their first warm-up game against Australia in a nail-biting thriller.
