West Indies announced a squad of 13 players for the first Test against India. The players that are named in the squad for the first Test of the series are Kraigg Brathwaite (C), Jason Holder, Alzarri Joseph, Jermaine Blackwood, Alick Athanaze, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Rahkeem Cornwall, Joshua Da Silva (WK), Shannon Gabriel, Kirk McKenzie, Raymon Reifer, Kemar Roach, and Jomel Warrican.
The squad looks good with a mix of youth and experience. Kraigg Brathwaite continues as the captain of the West Indies. The opening partner for him would be impressive Tagenarine Chanderpaul. The middle order has some good names like Jermaine Blackwood, Rahkeem Cornwall, and Joshua Da Silva. But barring Blackwood, the middle order lacks an experienced campaigner. Joshua Da Silva is likely to be the wicketkeeper batter of the side throughout the series.
The deadly pace bowling quartet
West Indies have regrouped their bowling with the pace quartet of Jason Holder, Shannon Gabriel, Kemar Roach, and Alzarri Joseph. Spinners like Rahkeem Cornwall, and Jomel Warrican, and some backup pacers like Raymon Reifer and Kirk Mckenzie are also a part of the squad. Considering the home conditions, West Indies has a good squad, although some experience in the middle order would have helped their batting.
The two Tests of the series are set to take place in Dominica and Port of Spain. The first Test will happen from 12th to 16th July. The second Test will be from 20th July to 24th July. After the completion of the Tests, the ODI series will take place, followed by the T20I series. While West Indies have announced their squad for the first Test of the series, the squads for the second Test, ODI series, and T20I series are yet to be announced. On the other hand, India has announced its squad for all three formats.

West indies selected not A NOT b but C side for test against top indian side.. pic.twitter.com/FyiPHpiNCp
Gabriel, Joseph, Roach, Holder combo is world class. It is going to be tough for India if they turn out fast bouncy tracks.

Play only t20 matches against West Indies that’s sufficient.
But Indian players ko record bhi to banane hai
Not so much excited about this series coz it's too easy to win against West Indies team even Netherlands and Scotland beaten them and disqualified them from the upcoming WTC..
