The 21st Match of the Hundred was played between the Northern Superchargers and the Manchester Originals. The coin fell in favour of the Northern Superchargers as they elected to bowl first.  The match was held at Leeds in Headingley. The Manchester Originals got off to a fast start as Wicketkeeper Batsman Phil Salt and skipper Laurie Evans carted the bowling everywhere.

Phil Salt smashed a brilliant half-century off just 25 balls which included 3 boundaries and 5 sixes. Laurie Evans was aggressive at the other end as well. He got 45 runs off just 19 balls which consisted of 6 fours and 2 maximums.

Tristian Stubbs, who was the overseas player, took a particular liking to the attack and tore them to shreds. He scored a whirlwind 46 off just 23 balls which contained 1 boundary and 5 massive hits over the fence.

Andre Russell threatened to unsettle the bowling and he hit 2 sixes in his run a ball 17. Paul Walter provided the finishing touches in the end by getting a handy 26 runs off 12 balls which had 2 boundaries and 2 maximums.

This resulted in a big total for the Manchester Originals who ended up scoring 208 for 5 in their allotted hundred balls. David Wiese, Craig Miles, and DJ Bravo were taken to the cleaners, They picked up 3 wickets between them but gave away a total of 127 runs in the process.

The Northern Superchargers in the second innings knew that they had to get off to a great start and they did just that. Though they lost Faf Du Plessis early, Adam Lyth scored s brisk 46 of 24 balls. Adam Hose in the middle order made a blistering 59 in just 27 balls. David Wiese also played a quick cameo of 25 runs from just 13 balls.

In the end, that was not enough as the Manchester Originals won by 23 runs and registered a comfortable win over the Northern Superchargers.

For the Originals, Joshua Little picked up 2 wickets in his 15-ball spell, and Paul Walter got 3 scalps for 27 runs in his 20-ball spell. Andre Russell and Tom Hartley chipped in with a wicket each as well.
