Shane Warne is not with us anymore and people miss him a lot and by the cricketing fraternity in specific. The legendary leg spinner made his mark in the world, played cricket and left as a legend who'll be remembered forever. No one at the moment can replace him in the game of cricket.

Every aspiring player will look up to him and his legacy. Not only spinners, but even pacers also look up to him for his extreme dedication and passion towards the game and the nation that he played for as well.

Had he been alive, Shane Warne would have turned 63 on Tuesday and fans hoped that he would come back to meet them for one last time. To their dismay, it is never going to happen again as the void remains the same in everyone’s heart.

Shane Warne’s incredible career

The spinner made his test debut against India in the year 1992 and it was only an upward journey for the player since then. The late cricketer went on and on with his spin skills and threatened every single batter in the world. Not many could withstand his wrath and a few even gave up playing against him.

Shane Warne picked up 708 wickets in the test format at an average of 25.42 which is still a dream for many. One could pay tributes to him, one could recall his spells but one has to admit that he has gone to a place that one could never speak of.

The spinner did not stop in test format alone as he picked up 293 wickets in the ODI format. It remains to see if some other leggie might break his records but for now, Warne’s records stand unbreakable. Fans got emotional and came up with tributes for the player on the micro-blogging platform.

As we relive some of the records of the bowler, let’s take a look at some of the emotional tributes that fans came up with on Twitter
