Virat Kohli has slowly been returning back to form. He played yet another fine knock in the third T20I against Australia. Although, the batter did get out cheaply in the first two matches as compared to the third one.
India and Australia played the decider at Hyderabad on Sunday (September 25) and Kohli scored 63 runs and helped the team win the match by 6 wickets.
However, one must admit that the best is yet to come from the Indian legend. Despite not making runs in the first two T20Is, Virat Kohli looked like he rediscovered himself in the third game. The player banks on running between the wickets whenever he bats and did the same in the decider as well. On the back of that, Virat Kohli also received the Energetic Player of the match award. However, fans loved the way he ran back to the team after getting the award.

I used my experience a little bit: Virat Kohli
Post the conclusion of the match, Virat Kohli said that he wanted to make the best use of his experience. The Indian legend opined on playing the anchor role and also added that he looked to change gears once Suryakumar Yadav departed.
"When Surya started hitting it like that, I kinda looked at the dug-out as well. Rohit and Rahul bhai both told me, ‘you can just keep batting on’ because Surya was striking it that well. It was just about building a partnership, so I used my experience a little bit, stayed back," the Indian veteran said.
"As soon as he went away, I tried to take on the first couple of balls, got a six off Pat Cummins and that set me off again. That’s why I’m batting at 3, I have to utilise my experience and give the team what the team wants," Virat Kohli concluded.
