Virat Kohli has been in tremendous form since Asia Cup 2022 where he scored 276 runs from five innings. He also scored his maiden T20I hundred against Afghanistan which was a scintillating knock of 122 runs off just 61 deliveries with twelve fours and six sixes.
He started the 20-20 World Cup 2022 with a bang, scoring a game-changing 82*off just 53 balls and then followed it up with another neat knock of 62 off just 44 balls against the Netherlands. It helped India get two wins from their first two games in the tournament.
Virat's first TV interview was taken by Vimal Kumar in 2006
In a video uploaded by journalist Vimal Kumar. Kohli was seen sweating it out at the nets ahead of the clash against Bangladesh which will take place on Wednesday. He was seen having a humorous conversation with Vimal, He received throwdowns from batting coach Vikram Rathore. The interaction happened a few minutes after the practice session ended.

The journalist then said that Kohli’s mood was upbeat during the interaction and also made a stunning revelation that he had taken Kohli’s interview which was the first TV interview of Kohli that was taken way back in 2006. This interview was done along with Ishant Sharma.
Vimal also spoke about the game changing knock against Pakistan to Kohli were he said that he enjoyed the knock to the fullest. Kohli spoke about how he cannot wind the clock back and that he will take whatever comes his way from now.
He gave a separate interview to the journalist as he did not want to do it in front of the media and because he was in a good mood, he called him to the nets and asked him to conduct the interview there. The reporter also said that he was pleased to see Kohli of the old scoring runs again aplenty.
The India-Bangladesh clash will be a do-or-die encounter for both teams who will look to get the win and seal a place in the semi-finals of this edition of the 20-20 World Cup.
